The latest draw released by the IRCC on April 16, 2021 was restricted to applicants who have applied and selected in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), which implies that only those candidates that have an ongoing or recent Canadian work experience will be considered for the Invitation to Apply (ITA). In this draw, a total of 6,000 eligible candidates are being issued an ITA towards immigration to Canada. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score cut-off for this recent draw was 417 points.
IRCC has issued an additional 1000 invitations as compared to the recent CEC specific draw that took place last month and the requirement of the CRS score was also 15 points less than this recent draw.
Though the Canada Government has surprised many aspiring immigrants by announcing this new Express Entry Draw as the same was unexpected to be released on a Friday evening, however this CEC-specific draw continues to follow the ongoing pattern of PNP and CEC-specific draws.
The last Express Entry Draw for the PNP candidates only was announced three days back on April 14.
