The recent Express Entry Draw announced on May 13, 2021 was restricted to applicants who have applied and selected in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), which implies that only those candidates that have a prior work experience in Canada will be considered under this draw. A total of 4,147 eligible candidates are being issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA) towards immigration to Canada under this latest announcement made by the Government of Canada. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score cut-off for this recent draw was 401 points. The tie-breaking rule applied for this draw as well on all those Express Entry profiles that were submitted at 401 points after April 29, 2021 at 11:48:14 UTC.
This draw has further continued the ongoing trend for the year 2021 in which all the Express Entry Draws are being restricted to candidates that are either selected through the Canadian Experience Class category or the Provincial Nominee Program immigration stream. There is no further information as to when the eligible candidates that have applied through the other immigration programs, which mainly includes the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) program will once again be included in these draws for immigration to Canada.
