Under the Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand sub-categories, immigration applicants were allowed to seek for a provincial nomination. A new immigration draw took place in Saskatchewan on 19 August. A total of 496 applicants were invited by two immigration programmes under the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). 161 of those invited may be eligible for the SINP's Express Entry subcategory, while 335 may be qualified for the Occupations In-Demand subcategory. The Expression of Interest (EOI) score required for each group of candidates differed slightly. Candidates with a score of at least 71 were asked to apply for the Express Entry subcategory. Candidates for Occupations in Demand received a significantly lower cutoff score of 70. There were various acceptable jobs for each category in this draw. For Express Entry candidates, there were 43 qualifying occupations in the draw, and 61 for Occupations in Demand candidates. On the government's website, you can find a complete list of qualifying jobs. Educational Credential Assessments were also required for both groups to show that their foreign education was equivalent to the Canadian level.
