- After being re-opened recently, the Federal Skilled Worker Program begins accepting applications tomorrow, May 4. The revamped program has new criteria, as well as a quota on the number of applications it will accept this year. Citizenship and Immigration Canada has announced that later today, its website will have complete details about the program, as well as application kits.
