On November 18, the immigration draw for Prince Edward Island was placed as planned.
The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) welcomed 188 immigration applicants to apply for a provincial nomination.
Express Entry and Labour Impact applicants received the majority of the invites (172). Business Impact applicants with at least 67 points in the province's immigration system received the remaining 16 invites.
Every month, PEI hosts a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) invitation round. This year's total number of invites granted is presently 1,729.
PNPs allow provinces and territories in Canada to choose immigrants who fulfil their labour market demands. This is true of Prince Edward Island, which follows federally authorised rules for administering the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP).
The next PNP draw for Prince Edward Island is scheduled for December 16, 2021.
