Information on January Round The NSW Government launched its third phase of registrations of interest for 491 Visa nominations in January, which ends today. Before submitting a full application for nomination, interested applicants must obtain an invitation to apply from the NSW Government through this method.
We eagerly await the submission of complete applications from individuals who were asked to apply by the NSW Government in this round. Make sure to follow the processes outlined on our website for applying for a 491 Visa to ensure that your application has all of the essential information. For skilled migrants relocating to our region, we also have a well-established Skilled Migrant Settlement Support Group on Facebook. Other Skilled Migrants can help you locate lodging and answer any general questions you may have about the location in this group.
If you filed a register of interest and have not received an invitation within ten days of the round's conclusion, you should presume you will not receive an invitation for that round. While not receiving an invitation is disheartening, the NSW Government plans to hold another round in March of this year. Those who have not received an invitation but satisfy the requirements may re-register their interest. Applicants are not penalized if they have failed in previous stages.
Please bear in mind that the NSW Government is in charge of issuing invitations to apply, and we have no control over their decisions. We can only address general questions concerning this initial stage in the 491 Visa application process. On the NSW Government's website, you may find further information on how to register your interest with the NSW Government, as well as an online form.
