On March 22, the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) issued its weekly round of invites.

About 204 BC immigration applicants have been invited to file for a provincial nomination.

A total of 132 of these applicants were chosen at random from a pool of applicants.

These applicants must fulfil the requirements of one of British Columbia's Express Entry BC or Skills Immigration categories, which are administered by the Skills and Immigration Registration System (SIRS).

Candidates from the Skilled Worker, International Graduate, Entry Level and Semi-Skilled subcategories got invitations in this draw, and they needed a minimum provincial score between 77 and 128 depending on the programme.

In addition, the province conducted four draws for applicants in certain occupations:

• 47 early childhood educators with scores of at least 78;

• 11 healthcare workers with scores of at least 78;

• less than five healthcare assistants with scores of at least 63; and

• nine animal health technologists and veterinarians with scores of at least 78.
