On April 7, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) issued an invitation to 223 applicants to apply.
Three different immigration streams received invitations:
• Manitoba Skilled Workers – 156 invites with a minimum score of 739;
• Overseas Skilled Workers — 33 invites with a minimum score of 683
• International Education Stream — 34 invites with no minimum score.
Only 30 of the people who were asked to apply have Express Entry profiles.
Those who want to be considered for a nomination from Manitoba must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to the MPNP. Manitoba ranks candidate profiles out of 1,000 points for their human capital factors, as well as their connections to the province.
The MPNP then sends out invitations to qualified applicants who are eligible to seek for a provincial nomination under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba and Skilled Workers Overseas streams.
