So far in 2022, Canada has invited 7,257 PNP candidates.
Canada invited 787 Express Entry applicants to apply for permanent residence on April 13.
All of the invited candidates had obtained a nomination from a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) and had a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) of at least 782.
Because Express Entry candidates receive an automatic 600 points boost when they acquire a provincial nomination, the minimum score was rather high. The lowest-scoring candidates would have received 182 base points if they had not been nominated.
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) welcomed 919 PNP candidates with scores of at least 785 in the last invitation round.
