BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) invited Over 178 BC immigration applicants to file for a provincial nomination.
A total of 141 applicants were chosen at random from the pool. Candidates from the Skilled Worker, International Graduate, Entry Level and Semi-Skilled subcategories received invites in this draw, and they needed a provincial score between 77 and 123.
Three further draws for candidates in certain vocations were also organised by the province. A total of 28 early childhood educators were invited, with some of them potentially qualifying for the Skilled Worker and International Graduate sub-categories.
Nine healthcare professionals were also asked to apply for the Skilled Worker, International Graduate, Entry Level, and Semi-Skilled sub-categories. Candidates required a provincial score of 65 in each of these draws.
A total of five veterinarians, animal health technologists, and veterinary technicians were also asked to apply for the Skilled Worker and International Graduate sub-categories. In order to be invited, these applicants required to have a score of at least 65.
In addition, BC stated that the BC PNP Entrepreneur Immigration (EI) Base category would reopen to new intake in July 2022, along with a revised EI Base Program Guide. In July 2021, the province put a halt to the stream to examine and modify the programme to current economic demands.
