For the first time since December 2020, Canada has sent invitations to applicants for the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP).
"Today, I am delighted to inform that Express Entry draws have officially commenced, and applications will be processed at our 6 month processing standard," said Canada's Minister of Immigration. In order to overcome Canada's labor shortfall, it will be crucial to welcome talented workers.
Candidates from the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) were also selected in today's Express Entry draw. Since September 2021, CEC applicants haven't been selected in an Express Entry draw till now.
A total of 1,500 Express Entry applicants received invitations from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to submit applications for permanent residence. The cutoff score for the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) was 557.
