The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC-PNP) conducted five (5) draws on August 16, 2022, for specific tech, healthcare, and education-related occupations, in accordance with the Express Entry BC (EEBC) and Skills Immigration (SI) programmes.

Almost 228 skilled individuals were given the opportunity to apply for permanent residence in British Columbia. The following are the draw's specifics, including the number of invites and the minimal score needed in each category:

Skills Immigration invitations

Invitations to apply specifically for one or more of the Skills Immigration categories may be based on any or all of the following criteria:

• Education – level and field of education and where it was completed

• Language skills

• Occupation

• Duration and skill level of work experience

• Wage and/or skill level of job offer

• Intent to live, work and settle in a specific region

• Strategic priorities – factors that address specific labour market needs in B.C. or support government pilot projects and initiatives
