  • Processing Time: 10 to 15 weeks
  • This may take longer depending on the complexity of the application and if the required documents and information are insufficient.
 
  • Skills Assessment for Migration - Trade Occupations
  • Processing Time: Varies
  • Processing time varies depending on the skills assessment program and other factors, such as whether all required documentary evidence has been provided. Approximate processing times are available in the relevant Applicant Guidelines from Trades Recognition Australia (TRA).
 
  • Priority Processing
  • Processing Time: 10 business days after confirmation of eligibility
  • Priority processing is available for professional and general occupations. This service is not offered for trade occupations.
 
  • Temporary Graduate (subclass 485) Visa
  • Processing Time: 4 to 6 weeks
  • The Australian Government has reinstated the requirement for a Skills Assessment when applying for this visa.
 
  • DAMA (Designated Area Migration Agreement)
  • Processing Time: 15 business days
  • This also applies to applications for a review of a DAMA assessment outcome.
 
  • ILA (Industry Labour Agreement)
  • Processing Time: 15 business days
 
  • Points Test Advice
  • Processing Time: 4 to 6 weeks
  • The assessment may take longer if the qualification claims require further research or investigation.

  • Processing Time: 8 to 10 weeks
  • This time frame applies once all required documents for the assessment are received. It may take longer depending on the complexity of the application. Priority Processing is available for Renewal applications.

  • Psychotherapy and Counselling Qualifications Assessment
  • Processing Time: 6 to 8 weeks
 
  • Complementary Health Therapies Assessment
  • Processing Time: 4 to 6 weeks
 
  • Qualifications Assessment for Financial Advisors
  • Processing Time: 4 to 6 weeks
 
  • Chinese Qualifications Verification
  • Processing Time: 8 to 10 weeks
  • Most applications are completed within 8-10 weeks, with a small number taking longer (e.g., qualifications awarded before 1995). Failure to submit all required documents may cause considerable delays.
 
  • Australian Technical Competencies Statement
  • Processing Time: 15 weeks
