Today’s draw marks the third of the week, following a Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draw on November 19 and a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw on November 18. This is also the second consecutive week of Express Entry draws.
The previous week saw a total of 1,933 ITAs issued to CEC candidates, PNP candidates, and those with French-language proficiency.
As outlined in the latest Immigration Levels Plan from IRCC, federal immigration targets for Express Entry are set to rise next year, with a goal of welcoming 124,680 candidates. Of these, over 82,000 will be allocated to a new In-Canada Focus category, primarily aimed at CEC candidates, though it may also include individuals from the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and PNP-aligned Express Entry streams.
The remaining 41,700 permanent residence admissions will be dedicated to the "Federal Economic Priorities" category, which will focus on candidates with professional experience in high-demand occupations within the Canadian labour market.
