Substantial changes have been made to New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP.) These changes will impact all the candidates who want to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) with New Brunswick Province. Expression of Interest will now be accepted only from candidates fulfilling certain criteria. To get your EOI accepted, you need to show one of the following:
  • Connection to New Brunswick: You must be either currently working in this province, or should have at least a post-secondary education from a New Brunswick institution. Job experience can also be replaced by job offer. Further, you family connections can also help you in getting the EOI accepted.
  • In the past 2 years, at least attended one NBPNP information session: You must have either attended an NBPNP information session or must have met with the staff of NBPNP in the past 2 years. You need to provide necessary documents in order to prove your presence at the event.
  • IT Skills: Candidates with proficiency in certain programming languages such as Java and C++ can also submit their EOI.
  • French as first language: Further, candidates need to go through language proficiency test in order to qualify for an ITA.
