BSMQ has suspended taking more EOI(Expression of Interests) from some of the occupations listed on the Queensland Skilled Occupation Lists (QSOL.) The quota reserved for these occupations has been filled due to the sheer number of applications received. Hence, BSMQ has decided to withhold any further EOI’s from these occupations.
The occupations though which applicants won’t be able to apply for immigration are mentioned below:
Removed on February 1, 2019
- ICT Business Analyst – 261111
- Quantity Surveyor – 233213
- Construction Project Manager – 133111

BSMQ isn’t providing more invitations for the following documents. So, if you applied through these occupations and haven’t received an ITA, then your application has likely been rejected or kept under reservation. If the candidates who have received an ITA don’t apply within the prescribed time, then the invitation will be provided to the reserved candidates.
Multiple occupations were removed in the previous year. Here is a list providing the summary of the same:
BSMQ may open these occupations later if the current invitees do not respond in the required time frame. If this happens, information will be posted to this page.
