In the latest Express Entry Draw, 3,350 candidates were provided an ITA (Invitation to Apply.) The draw was held on May 1. The minimum CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score required for qualifying fell to 450 which is lower than the requirement for the previous 5 draws.   With the Express Entry program, Canada has initiated the process of increasing its population via immigration. In order to simplify the application process, the following immigration streams were consolidated:
  • Federal Skilled Worker Class
  • Federal Skilled Trades Class
  • Canadian Experience Class
A total of 31,250 ITAs have been issued through the Express Entry program since the start of 2019. The first quarter result for this year are higher than that of the previous year. With the increasing number of applications, the CRS score is likely to fall further. Canada has yet a long way to go to meet its 2019 immigration target, and to do so it needs to take in more permanent residents.   To know more, you can get in touch with our immigration consultants at: Landline 0120- 6618011 0120-6618123   Mobile 7303120123 9999467676 Source: CIC News
