New Visa application fee from 1st July 2019
An increase in Visa application fees has been announced by the
Australian Immigration Department from 1 July 2019.The 5.4 percent increase applies to all subclasses of Visa except for the
Subclass 600 Tourist Visa. No increase in second installment VACs will occur, which is good news for a certain applicants for parent visas.
The new fee applies to applications submitted on or after 1 July 2019, including applications for Skilled Migration and Partner Visa.

The government will reduce the Migration program's planning level from 190,000 to 160,000 places for the next 4 years, according to the new budget.
There will be 108,682 Visa places in the Skill Migrant steam and 47,732 places in the Family Visa stream in the new financial year starting in Australia on 1 July.
