Manitoba draw issues 224 invitations to immigration candidates

  A new draw by the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program on September 25, 2019, urged 224 qualified workers to apply for a Canadian permanent residence Nomination. Manitoba invited 224 candidates, including 15 Express Entry candidates, to apply to the MPNP, with invitations issued under  
  • Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream 
  • International Education stream
  • Skilled Workers Overseas stream
  The invitations, known as Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs), were awarded through three streams of immigration from MPNP: Manitoba’s skilled workers, Overseas skilled workers, and international education.   MPNP under the Expression of Interest System

  • Number of Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 59 who were invited directly by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative
  • Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 703
