PEI invites 158 Candidates in the Latest Draws
In a draw held on October 17, Prince Edward Island issued new invitations for candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in its divisions of Express Entry, Labor Impact, and Business Stream. In the categories of Express Entry and Labor Impact and Business Stream, a total of 158 invitations were given to candidates. PEI is one of 11 Canadian provinces and territories involved in the Provincial Nominee Program of Canada, which requires them to select a number of Canadian permanent residence immigration applicants each year. Prince Edward Island, or PEI, holds monthly drawings for immigrant applicants who have submitted an Expression of Interest to their PEI PNP immigrant applicant program. PEI's Express Entry Category is connected to the Federal Express Entry Program, which handles the pool of candidates for three of Canada's major categories of immigration —- Federal Skilled Worker Class,
- Federal Skilled Trades Class
- Canadian Experience Class.
