Ontario Entrepreneur Stream (OES) – Latest Draw Issued 16 Invitation to Apply
The province of Ontario recently issued a total of 16 Invitation to apply (ITA’s) under the Ontario Entrepreneur Stream category. The applicants who were able to score at least 118 points score are eligible to apply for the permanent residency of Canada through the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). In addition to this, only those candidates who have submitted an Expression of Interest (EOI) by November 21, 2019 will only be eligible to apply for the permanent resident visa (PR Visa) in the subsequent draw.
The Ontario Entrepreneur Stream that is operated under the Ontario’s provincial nominee program or Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is administered on the basis of the requirements and regulations laid down by the Ontario Immigration Act, 2015. This particular immigration scheme is applicable for those entrepreneurs that are situated outside of Canada and intend to start an innovative business or wish to purchase an already thriving business in the state of Ontario.
The Ontario Entrepreneur Stream gives an opportunity to such entrepreneurs, that have only one international business partner to get nomination for the permanent residence of Canada after their business gets established in Ontario. In case the applicant receives a nomination from the state, then would be required to follow certain subsequent steps, which mainly includes to apply for permanent resident status from the Federal Government of Canada through the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). The final decision to issue the permanent resident visa is made by the IRCC.
In order to submit your application towards the Ontario Entrepreneur Stream through Ontario Entrepreneur Stream, the applicant should have their existing profile in the Express Entry System while also complying with other eligibility requirements of the federal immigration program. However, receiving a provincial nomination from Ontario will get an individual an additional 600 points in their total Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.
