In the Express Entry draw released on March 4, 2020 towards immigration to Canada, a total of 3,900 candidates were being issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA). The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score was equivalent to 471 points for this particular draw. Since this was an all-program draw, therefore candidates across all Express Entry-aligned immigration programs would be eligible.
In the last draw, which took place on February 19, 2020, the CRS cut-off threshold was 470 points and therefore there is a slight increase of one point in the new Express Entry draw.
The tie-breaking rule will be applied for the current March 4 draw, which implies that not all the applicants that have scored 471 points will receive the ITA. As a large number of applicants have 471 points, only those who have submitted their profiles towards the Express Entry pool before February 24, 2020 at 06:02:57 UTC will be preferred.
