Pathways exist for :
1. Living and working in regional NSW (must be living and working in Regional NSW for 12 months)
2. Recently completed study in regional NSW (must have studied for 2 years in Regional NSW. The qualification must be related to nominated occupation)
3. Living and working outside of NSW
a) Job offer in regional NSW (12 months employment contract in nominated occupation in Regional NSW). b) At least five years skilled employment experience (offshore Applicants) c) Family ties in regional NSW (have an immediate family member living in a designated regional area in NSW for at least 2 years).
Further, every region (RDA) in NSW will have its own skilled occupation list and your occupation must be in the particular RDA's list in order to apply.
Please note that as a result of COVID-19 and significant reductions in Australia’s Migration Program Planning Levels, the chances of being nominated are currently low and you must meet the published nomination criteria to apply.
