The CRS in the new CEC draw ties the second-lowest CRS score On July 22, a total of 4,500 Express Entry applicants were invited to apply for permanent residence in Canada. CEC applicants with a score of at least 357 were invited to apply by Canada. Candidates with a score of at least 357 were invited by Canada's immigration authority. To be invited, candidates had to be eligible for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). In addition, if they received the required score, they were only considered if they submitted their profiles by February 14, 2021, as specified by the tie-break regulation. 4,500 applicants were accepted to the last CEC invitation round, with a cutoff score of 369. The previous CEC round, however, had a 357 cutoff as well. This is the second-lowest score ever for a CEC draw. On February 13, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) sent out invitations to CEC candidates with scores of at least 75 which was the lowest.
