On August 31, 2021, British Columbia conducted four Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draws, which resulted in the invitation of 488 immigrants.

Every month since February, British Columbia has held two distinct rounds of invites for its PNP programme. A general draw and a second draw for retail and wholesale retail managers, as well as restaurant and foodservice managers, are held by the province.

According to a press release from the province, the second draw is due to a large number of persons enrolled in the BC PNP Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) with these two industries. B.C. hopes to balance the demands in all areas of the provincial labour market by hosting these extra draws.

In the general draw, candidates from the Skills Immigration (SI) and Express Entry BC (EEBC) streams of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) got invites.

Invitations were sent to people in the Skilled Worker, International Graduate, Entry Level, and Semi-Skilled sub-categories of the SI and EEBC streams, respectively.

The draw's minimum scores varied from 69 to 90 points. A total of 467 people were asked to apply.

A second draw was held under the SI and EEBC categories, focusing on individuals with NOC 0621 or NOC 0631 as their employment. The draw gave 21 invites with scores of 106.

B.C. has invited around 8,000 people through various BC PNP streams up to present year.
