British Columbia Send Invite to 527 Candidates in the Latest Draw
British Columbia periodically invites the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) to apply to the largest scoring Candidates in each category. BC PNP nominates successful candidates to apply for permanent residency at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Aug 21, 2019–The province issued over 500 ITA for the first time in 2019 for a new draw for British Columbia immigration. In the recent draw in which province invited 527 candidates to apply through the British Columbia PNP Program, the draw on August 20 also saw minimum scores drop for all five featured streams. Candidates invited to qualify through the direct provincial skilled worker stream needed 95 points, while qualified employees needed 100 points from Express Entry. For the direct global provincial graduate stream, a minimum score of 100 was also registered, with the Express Entry stream recording a minimum score of 102 points for global graduates.
