Today’s draw marks the third of the week, following a Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draw on November 19 and a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw on November 18. This is also the second consecutive week of Express Entry draws.
Last week, a total of 1,933 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued to candidates from the CEC, PNP, and those with French-language proficiency.
According to IRCC’s latest Immigration Levels Plan, federal immigration targets for Express Entry are set to rise next year, with the goal of welcoming 124,680 Express Entry candidates to Canada.
Of these, over 82,000 admissions will be allocated to the new In-Canada Focus category, which will primarily target CEC candidates but may also include those from the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and PNP-aligned Express Entry streams.
The remaining 41,700 permanent residence (PR) admissions will be reserved for the "Federal Economic Priorities" category, aimed at inviting candidates with professional experience in high-demand occupations within Canada’s labor market.
