In consideration with new report presented by the Conference Board of Canada, different stature of Canadian immigration policies affects quite different to the economy of the country. The report covers the segment of GDP, ratio of workers per retiree, current size of the Canada Population and total cost incurred by the health care industry. It was concluded that by raising the Canada immigration applicants to around 3,00,000, the issues faced due to aged / retired population along with low rate of birth could be greatly resolved.
Asked what the figure would be for next year after two years of welcoming 300,000 new permanent residents, Hussen said: “I can assure you it won’t drop.”
This suggestion was furthermore welcomed by the whole board when it was deduced that by raising the intake of immigrants into Canada will not have any untoward impact on the daily wages and income of a Canadian resident. Thus in current scenario increasing the level of immigration in Canada will not only be beneficial for the immigration aspirants but will also help to overcome certain internal issue of Canada as a country as well.
