Every month, the ACT has a predetermined number of nomination spots available, which are prorated against the annual quota. Those with the highest Matrix scores in each occupation were selected to apply for ACT nomination. The cut-off point for selection was determined by the remaining monthly allocation, the time and date of the Matrix submission, occupation quota, and demand. If an occupation has a higher demand, then candidates with higher Matrix scores were invited to apply.
The minimum ranking score is merely an indicator and does not guarantee an invitation. Invitations will not be extended if an applicant has an active application in the system or has previously received an ACT nomination.
Requests for ranking information
There is no guarantee of receiving an invitation and any requests for information about ranking or the probability of receiving an invitation will not be addressed. Personal circumstances, such as visa expiry dates or significant life events like birthdays, will not influence the prioritization or issuance of invitations for the Matrix program.
