Change in Occupation In-Demand List of Saskatchewan
Saskatchewan Occupation In-Demand is one of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) International Skilled Worker Streams, a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) run by Saskatchewan Province. Candidates with expertise in the in-demand occupations of Saskatchewan and score high enough on the SINP Points Assessment Grid. Saskatchewan has opened its immigration program to a wider spectrum of occupations, making it possible for more individuals around the globe to settle in a province that provides plenty of work possibilities and high living standards. The program sub-categories Occupations In-Demand (OID) and Express Entry (EE) are for people with educational and work experience in a highly skilled and in-demand job. Eligible occupations in the OID and EE sub-categories are highly qualified occupations in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) Matrix levels, except for the ineligible occupations mentioned below in the SINP Excluded Occupation List. Highly qualified professions include:- NOC "A" (occupations that usually require university education);
- NOC "B" (occupations that usually require college education or apprenticeship training);
- NOC "0" (management).
- Score a minimum of 60 points out of 100 on the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) point assessment grid;
- Have at least one-year work experience in the past 10 years in your intended occupation;
- Have a language score of at least Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4.
- Show proof of eligibility for Saskatchewan licensure, if your intended occupation is in a regulated profession or compulsory apprenticeship trade;
- Have an offer of permanent, full-time employment in Saskatchewan. You'll need a valid SINP Job Approval Letter to show proof of this. There is no specific list of jobs, but your offer is required to be in an occupation in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) Matrix level "A", "B" or "0", or in a designated trade in Saskatchewan.
