DHA Invitation Round Updates Related On 11 December 2019

Skilled Independent Visa (subclass 189) and Skilled Regional (provisional) Visa (subclass 489) invitation rounds will take place once a month. Invitation rounds are expected to run on each month’s 11th day. The dates of the rounds may alter. Invitation figures may differ in each round based on the number of requests the department is processing. In December 11th round of invitation, a total of 250 applicants received invites to apply for permanent residency in Australia.

Invitation process and cut-offs

The largest ranked applicants are encouraged to apply for the appropriate visa by points score. For applicants who have equal points scores, the time at which they reached their points score for that subclass (referred to as the date of impact).
