Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has released invitations to apply (ITAs) in the most recent Express Entry draw.
In this round, 4,000 ITAs were issued exclusively for candidates in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). To be eligible, candidates needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 509.

Today's draw marks the third of the month, following two last week where 911 candidates were invited from the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) and 1,000 from a category-based selection for French-language proficiency.
This draw is the largest for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) since July 31, when 5,000 candidates received ITAs.
Today’s draw also shows a slight increase in the minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score compared to the last CEC draw, where candidates needed a score of 507 on August 27.
ITAs are issued only to candidates whose CRS scores exceed the department's cut-off score for that particular draw.

What is Express Entry?
Express Entry is an application management system introduced in 2015 that manages three key economic immigration programs in Canada: the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class.
These programs utilize the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) to evaluate candidates based on various in-demand factors, including language proficiency, education, work experience, age, and occupation. Additional points can be awarded for having a sibling in Canada, immigrating with a spouse or partner, or achieving a high Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) score in both English and French.
