Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted another Express Entry draw, issuing additional invitations to apply (ITAs).

A total of 676 ITAs were issued through a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw.

To be considered, candidates needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System CRS score of 705.

Today's candidate selection follows a November marked by six Express Entry draws, resulting in 5,507 invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residence (PR).

As in previous months, there have been consistent draws for candidates in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) and Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). This trend is expected to continue with the introduction of the new "In-Canada" focus category, which will specifically target CEC candidates and "other regional programs," potentially including those from the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) and Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP).

Under Canada's latest Immigration Levels Plan, this category has been allocated 82,980 PR admissions, accounting for more than 40% of all planned admissions for the coming year.

Candidates with strong French language skills are also likely to see an increase in ITA issuances in 2025, as the allocation of PR admissions for French speakers outside Quebec rises to 29,235. ITAs for this group are expected to continue increasing in 2026 and 2027 as part of IRCC's Francophone immigration strategy.
