The dawn of 8th February, 2017 brought in ray of sunshine for 3,664 candidates under Express Entry system awaiting ITA for Canada Permanent Residency. The latest figures that came up in this draw have reached the lowest ever as the candidates require only 447 or more CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) points to receive ITA. The last record of lowest CRS points was of 450 that surfaced on 2nd October, 2015.
This drop in points is significantly good news for applicants who have waited with all their fingers crossed; especially since the new changes in Express Entry system has been implemented. In retrospect, the professed changes have hugely impacted the CRS scoring of candidates with job offer and been advantageous for those who carry required credits of Canadian education.
The latest draw is 4th express entry draw for ITA of Canada PR since the start of New Year – 2017. The last draw, which was on 25th January 2017, gave out ITA to 3,508 prospective applicants who had 453 or more CRS points. The score allotted as CRS under Express Entry System is given out from total of 1200 points which are used as criterion to judge applicants against each other. The express entry system was established in January 2015 in order to provide eligible candidates with opportunity of Permanent Resident Status of Canada.
The latest draw is the 54th Express Entry Draw that has invited 3,664 likely candidates to file their application in next 90 days in order to get one step closer to their dream of migrating to Canada on Permanent basis.
