So for in the year 2021, the provincial government of Manitoba has invited a total of 2,269 skilled candidate to apply for their PNP program
April 20, 2021
Manitoba PNP held a rather unexpected draw on April 19.
The province invited a total of 399 candidates through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) who were found to be eligible under the Skilled Workers Overseas Immigration stream.
Precisely, the provincial government of Manitoba held three Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) Draws at a given time, in which nominates only few Express Entry candidates. The latest draw did not include any candidate from the immigration streams, that are, Skilled Worker in Manitoba and also the International Stream.
Also, the province announced different score requirements for the consideration of Expression of Interest (EOI), which was based on the fact whether the eligible and selected candidate received an invite from the strategic recruitment initiative or from the Express Entry Pool.
The results of the recently held MPNP Draw are as follows:
- 30 candidates received invitation from the strategic recruitment initiative and should have a minimum EOI score of 703.
- 30 candidates received invitation from the strategic recruitment initiative and should have a minimum EOI score of 708.
Express Entry candidates will only become eligible to receive the provincial nomination if their Expression of Interest (EOI) is still valid when the provincial government of MPNP evaluates their immigration application. All the invited candidates will be given a timeline of 60 days from the date when they would receive the Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA) to apply for the provincial nomination program of Manitoba.
Manitoba invited Express Entry candidates
Express Entry is one of the main pathway through which Canada managed skilled and professional workers applications. There are considerable possibilities to skip the PNP immigration route and receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for the permanent residence of Canada directly by applying for the same, directly from the Express Entry. However, if an applicant receives a provincial nomination then it effectively provides a guarantee that the Federal Government of Canada or the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will send you the required invitation to apply for the permanent residency of Canada.
Express Entry can be described as an application management system which operates and manages three Federal Immigration Stream. When a candidate submits their Expression of Interest, and then then are ranked on the basis of the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) which takes into consideration factors such as age, employment experience, education and also language proficiency skills.
The candidate who is able to score highest is able to receive an invitation to apply (ITA) to apply towards the permanent residence, where the selection of the eligible candidates takes place through the frequently held Express Entry Draws.
You also receive an additional 600 CRS points after being nominated by a province, such as Manitoba. This additional award of points is high enough to enable you to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in the subsequent Express Entry Draw.
