Canadian government has put in a limit on the nomination number that can be acquired under SINP (Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program). In order for proficiency of the program to remain at same level, SINP tries to accept maximum number of applications, as close to the limit set as possible. The table provided on the website is updated every three months and as soon as the limit is reached, the website is updated and information is provided that no more applications will be accepted under that category.
As per the application intakes as on 23rd November, 2016 for many different categories under SINP are:
International Skilled Worker:
- With Job Offer – Limit is 5,000 and maximum applications accepted are 3614.
- Through Express Entry - Limit is 1,700 and maximum applications accepted are 0.
- Occupations in Demand - Limit is 1,800 and maximum applications accepted are 0.
Saskatchewan Experience:
- For Health Professionals & Work Permit Holders - Limit is 1,200 and remaining number of acceptance is 753.
Students - Limit is 1,000 and remaining number of acceptance is 341.
- Working in Hospitality Sector - Limit is 500 and remaining number of acceptance is 351.
Long Haul Truck Drivers - Limit is 300 and remaining number of acceptance is 266.
Entrepreneur & Farm
- Farmers - Limit is 50 and remaining number of acceptance is 50.
Entrepreneur category of SINP is made on the basis of system called EOI (Expression of Interest). Draw through EOI is done at least once in every three months. Results of latest EOI draw for 57 invitations issued are as follows:
- Average Score under EOI – 115
- Highest Score garnered under EOI – 135
- Lowest Score garnered under EOI - 110
