The final number of skilled visa nomination slots allotted to Tasmania for the program year 2022–2023 has finally been distributed. Moreover, 900 subclass 491 Skilled Work Regional spots have been allocated.
The ultimate allocation to Tasmania consists of:
• Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa: 2000 places
• Skilled Work Regional (subclass 491) visa: 2250 places

• Nominations – 1117 of 2000 places used
• Unfinalised nomination applications – 185
• Invitations issued but not yet accepted – 184
Skilled Work Regional (subclass 491) visa:

• Unfinalised nomination applications – 360
• Invitations issued but not yet accepted – 277
