NSW 190 Eligibility Criteria
Skills
possess expertise in the following fields:
• within an ANZSCO unit group identified on the NSW Skilled Nominated Skills List; AND
• is eligible for the Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190)
Residency
You must have lived in NSW for at least six months and currently reside there or offshore.
Work experience and point score
You must meet the unit group's minimum point requirements and skilled job experience requirements. On the NSW Skilled Nominated Skills List, these are listed next to the name of your unit group.
NSW 491 Eligibility Criteria
Skills
Be skilled in an occupation that is:
• within an ANZSCO unit group identified on the NSW Skilled Work Regional Skills List; AND
• is eligible for the Skilled Work visa (subclass 491)
Residency
You must have lived in NSW for at least three months and currently reside there or offshore.
Work experience and point score
You must meet the unit group's minimum point requirements and skilled job experience requirements. On the NSW Skilled Nominated Skills List, these are listed next to the name of your unit group. Regional NSW study exemption
If you completed your studies in regional NSW within the most recent 24 months before submitting an application to an RDA office, AND your studies are connected to your nominated (or closely related) occupation, AND your studies in regional NSW qualify you for Study in regional Australia launch points, then you are exempt from the minimum work experience requirement under Pathway 1.
