On January 10, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued 404 invitations to apply to candidates in the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream.
The Economic Mobility Pathways Project issued two of the invitations. Candidates with full-time job offers in a skilled occupation at TEER categories 0, 1, or 2 of the National Occupational Classification (NOC) were the target of the draw. Candidates needed a score of 35 or higher to be eligible.
On December 22, the province declared that it had invited the maximum number of applicants permitted for the year. Ontario extended invitations to 9,750 applicants for 2022.
According to the province, under the program's 2023 nomination allocation, new applications as well as those that have already been submitted to the OINP will still be accepted and taken into consideration.
