Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP): The latest draw issued 525 ITA under two streams

 

In its recently held Expression of Interest (EOI) draw, the province of Saskatchewan has issued 525 invitations to apply (ITA) across 94 occupations.

 

The provincial draw of Saskatchewan that took place on 12 November 2019 observed ITAs to be issued under the two provincial streams of Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

 

Those applicants who applied via Saskatchewan Express Entry draw received 303 invitations and required a minimum of score 69 for this particular stream. However, the applicants who applied through the Saskatchewan’s Occupation In-Demand Category received a total of 222 invitations and also required a minimum score of 69 to be eligible under this stream.

 

This SINP draw was the seventh draw since the province of Saskatchewan has increased its list of most demanding and suitable occupations in the province from just 19 professions to a total of 218 professions in the current list.

  1. Applicants are required to create an Expression of Interest (EOI) profile;
  2. The applicants can then access the entire pool of applicants under the EOI;
  3. Based on their score, the eligible candidates are selected from the EOI pool;
  4. Invitation to Apply (ITA) are sent to selected applicants through frequently held draws;
  5. Applicants with ITA are required to submit a detailed application within less than 60-days;
  6. Finally, the immigration officials for SINP would evaluate the entire application before releasing the final judgment.
 

Requirements for Saskatchewan’s Occupation In-Demand Category

 

Eligibility requirements to apply for the Saskatchewan’s Occupation In-Demand Category are described below:

 
  1. Applicants are required to score at least 60 points under the SINP Points Assessment Grid.
  2. Applicants are required to score minimum CLB 4 in the English Language Proficiency Test. However, certain companies and other authorized bodies can also demand a higher score.
  3. Applicants are required to possess one year of post-secondary qualification, training or studies equivalent to Canadian education system. In addition to this, you could be demanded to hold a diploma or a degree.
  4. Applicants are required to have a minimum of 1 year of full-time work experience under a required profession, gained in the last 10 years.
  5. Applicants would be required to obtain a valid licensure while working in Saskatchewan if demanded by your filed of occupation as the officials will refuse to process the immigration request in the absence of credible licensure.
  6. Applicant should demonstrate adequate amounts of funds along with a detailed settlement plan.
  7. Applicants are required to pay a sum equivalent to CAD 350 for submitting their application, after receiving the ITA.
