Candidates having job experience in one of 65 occupations are targeted by the new Saskatchewan draw. On August 5, Saskatchewan welcomed 452 immigrants to apply for a provincial nomination. Candidates who may be eligible for a nomination through the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), specifically the International Skilled Worker category, received invites. 171 of those invited may qualify for the SINP's Express Entry subcategory, while 281 may qualify for the Occupations In-Demand subcategory. In order to be invited, applicants had to have an Expression of Interest (EOI) score of at least 73, regardless of the stream. They also need Educational Credential Assessments to prove that their overseas education met Canadian standards. Work experience in one of the 65 in-demand jobs listed on the government's website is also required.
