Saskatchewan issued 610 invitations In Latest Draw

October 2, 2019, Saskatchewan issued 610 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination to Express Entry and Occupation In-Demand applicants for permanent residence in Canada. Last to Last Week Saskatchewan updated the Occupation In-Demand List from 19 to 218. This draw is the first conducted since the Saskatchewan updated the Occupation In-Demand List.   Saskatchewan invited 610 candidates, including 396 Express Entry candidates and 214 Occupations In-Demand candidates. The minimum scores in the SINP’s October 2 draws were 68 for both the Express Entry and Occupation In-Demand sub-category.  These minimum scores were lower than in last week’s draw, which had a minimum score of 79 for Occupations In-Demand candidates and 70 for Express Entry candidates.   The Express Entry sub-category of Saskatchewan allows the province to nominate skilled workers with a profile in the federal Express Entry system. A maximum of 769 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination were given last week through these two sub-categories to Saskatchewan immigration applicants in draws.   The SINP enables Saskatchewan to nominate eligible foreign workers for permanent residence in Canada through a number of categories tailored to the different needs of its economic and labor market.   Candidates invited represented 77 occupations, recorded by the SINP. HR personnel, engineers, computer network technicians, legal assistants, academic counselors, natural and applied science scientists, as well as cleaning supervisors were among those included.   Express Entry applicants applying for and securing a provincial nomination receive an additional 600 points for their Express Entry ranking score, which essentially guarantees the Government of Canada's invitation to apply for permanent residence in a subsequent Express Entry selection round.   The Express Entry system manages the pool of candidates for three of Canada’s main Economic Class immigration categories
  • Federal Skilled Worker Class
  • Federal Skilled Trades Class
  • Canadian Experience Class.
Invitations to apply for a provincial nomination are then issued to the highest-scoring candidates through regular selection rounds. Under the SINP’s EOI system, eligible candidates are issued a score based on factors such as their education, work experience, proficiency in English or French and connections to Saskatchewan.   Immigration Experts best Immigration Consultant will help you to resolve all of your Canadian/Australian immigration-related queries.
