Skill Select round of 25th July 2018 did not happen!
Today we would like to share a latest update by the DHA (Department of Home Affairs)
The department has recently announced that the changes in the invitation pattern. As we know previously, the department of home affairs was conducting 2 invitation rounds every month(2nd and 4th Wednesday) ,which was every fortnight.
Now they will have only 1 invitation round every month.
The invitation round will be conducted on 11th day of every month. This change will be effective from 11th of August 2018.
In this change, DHA has assured that although there will be less number of rounds each month, there will be no change in the number of invitations issued each month but again this can change the pattern leaving many aspirants waiting for invitations longer.
As long as they maintain the invitation number each month, it would be fine but the moment it drops down, applicant can expect longer delays.
Overall, it can be said that department has changed their policy from less invitations, more frequent rounds to more invitations, less rounds.

Note : This piece of Information is only for the applicants under subclass 189 and 489 who have got their positive skill assessment and have lodged their EOI and waiting for Invitation.
