The province of Alberta has published the results of an immigration draw held on October 12th.
The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) welcomed 293 Express Entry applicants who must have a score of at least 300 in order to be considered for a provincial nomination.
The province is holding its first draw of the month. Alberta conducted four Express Entry stream draws in September, each requiring a minimum score of 300. Last month alone, 1,610 invites were sent out.
Since resuming invitation rounds in January 2021, Alberta has invited 5,910 Express Entry applicants to file for a provincial nomination. In the latter months of 2020, it went on a brief break. Express Entry applicants are invited to file for a nomination certificate, which would help them with their permanent residency application. Alberta is permitted to issue 6,250 nomination certificates this year.
