The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) sent out invitations to 471 people who could be eligible for the Ontario Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream.
These applicants needed an Express Entry profile with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 350 or above.
Candidates who registered an Express Entry profile between March 24, 2021, and March 24, 2022 were invited to apply.
For Federal Skilled Worker Program and Canadian Experience Class applicants, Ontario's Express Entry-linked Skilled Trades Stream provides a road to permanent residency. Eligible candidates are invited to seek for a provincial nomination through the OINP.
Candidates must live in Ontario and have a valid work permit to be considered. They must also have completed at least one year of full-time job or the equivalent in part-time work.
They must have completed this work experience in a skilled trade classified in Canada's National Occupational Classification (NOC) in Minor Group 633 or Major Group 72, 73, or 82.
