On July 4, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) issued an invitation to 348 applicants.
Three immigration streams each received a different number of invitations:
• 186 invites for skilled workers in Manitoba with a minimum score of 773;
• 83 invites for Skilled Workers Overseas with a minimum score of 711; and
• 79 invites are available for the international education stream without a minimum grade.
Among those who were invited to apply, 59 already had profiles in the Express Entry system.
If you want to be nominated from Manitoba, you need to submit an Expression of Interest to the MPNP. Once that step is done, they will be able to get a LAA through the Skilled Workers in Manitoba and Skilled Workers Overseas streams.
Then, Manitoba assigns a score to each candidate profile out of 1,000, taking into account both the applicant's connections to the province and their human capital. Following that, the MPNP sends invitations to qualified candidates who can then make an application for a provincial nomination.
