Skills Assessment authority for Dietician is Dieticians Association of Australia (DAA). To have a positive skills assessment, you must meet the following criteria:

• If you are a permanent resident of another country you must have successfully completed an accredited Nutrition and Dietetics program in Australia or
• You must have completed the second stage of the Dietetic Skills Recognition (DSR) process (MCQ exam)
• A competent English level i.e. IELTS 6.0 or comparable

• monitoring food intake and quality to provide nutritional care
• calculating nutritional values of food served
• planning, conducting and evaluating nutrition intervention programs and compiling educational material
• providing nutrition assessments, nutrition management, and nutrition education, research and training
• consulting with other Health Professionals and related workers to manage the dietary and nutritional needs of patients
