What is the Canadian Experience Class?
The Canadian Experience Class is part of Canada’s Express Entry system. It is designed for skilled workers who have Canadian work experience and want to become permanent residents.
To qualify, applicants must:
- Have at least one year of skilled work experience in Canada within the last three years.
- Meet language proficiency requirements in English or French.
- Plan to live outside Quebec.
What This Draw Means for Candidates
This draw shows that Canada continues to value candidates with Canadian work experience. The CRS cut-off of 534 is relatively high, so applicants with strong work history, language skills, and education are most likely to receive invitations.
If you are close to this CRS score, now is a good time to improve your profile. You can do this by:
- Gaining more Canadian or international work experience.
- Improving your language test scores.
- Completing higher education or additional training.
Next Steps After Receiving an ITA
Candidates who receive an ITA have 60 days to submit their complete application for permanent residence. It is important to prepare all required documents in advance to avoid delays.
If you were not selected in this round, you can stay in the Express Entry pool. Your profile remains valid for up to 12 months. You can also take steps to increase your CRS score before the next draw.
