Tasmania can now review the unsupported visa application for 190 for the 489 visa application (sponsored by the state).   Requirements   Compliance with the nomination criteria does not guarantee that the Tasmanian Government will nominate you.   Each visa application is subject to a highly competitive process and is assessed individually, with an emphasis on your ability to meet a number of evaluation criteria, including:  
  1. The availability of places of appointment
  2. Your ability to meet the minimum requirements
  3. The demand for your skills and expertise, and your ability to find work in Tasmania
  4. The adequacy and portability of your qualifications, skills and experience - including any specialist - to the needs of the Tasmanian labor market
  5. Your demonstrated ability and commitment to establish yourself and all your dependents in Tasmania from the perspective of your long-term prospects for settlement in the state
  6. Number of points claimed in the points test
  7. Proficiency level in English
  8. The authenticity and accuracy of the claims presented in your application.

  2. Construction Industries
  3. Agricultural professions
  The State of Tasmania has stated that it may consider your 489 visa application (provisional) if your application was not successful for 190 appointments. To do this, they asked to select the two visas, namely visas 190 and 489 (state-sponsored), in your email address, select EOI at the time of your deposit.
