Key Highlights of the Draw
Draw Name: Trade Occupations
Date and Time: September 18, 2025
Number of ITAs Issued: 1,250
CRS Score of Lowest-Ranked Candidate: 505
Focus on Trade Occupations
This draw targeted skilled candidates with experience in trade occupations. Canada still needs more workers in this sector. Therefore, IRCC organized the draw to meet the growing demand. By selecting trade professionals, Canada can strengthen industries such as construction, manufacturing, and maintenance.
What This Means for Candidates
If you received an invitation, you should now prepare your application for permanent residence. Remember, IRCC gives you only 60 days to submit all documents. If your score is close to 505, stay hopeful. More draws are expected in the coming months, and your chance of selection may improve.
Looking Ahead
Canada’s Express Entry program continues to be one of the fastest ways to get permanent residency. Since trade occupations are in focus in 2025, workers in these fields have better opportunities to immigrate successfully.
